Say hello to Jump the Puddle! (2015)

We've changed our name. It's official. We are no longer just Symbiotic, but Jump the Puddle! This marks the start of the exciting new changes happening within our company. We're embracing our naivety. We're attempting to jump over boring, average and normal. This doesn't mark the end of Symbiotic; its legacy continues. In response to our re-brand we have started the SYMBIOTIC PROJECT.

Pick Me Up - launch night! (2015)

To celebrate the creation of our newest project we held a VERY successful Launch Night. Cakes, raffles, kissing booths and live music were all present... As well as great company! The three books of love have officially been written in, marking the start of a journey... A journey with no ending. We've no idea what's going to happen to these books and this is what makes this project so exciting for us! Over the Launch Night, we managed to raise £67 for The BHF!

Supporting the BHF (2015)

As part of our Pick Me Up project we have decided to take the opportunity to support and raise money for The British Heart Foundation. The British Heart Foundation was set up in 1961 to research, prevent and treat heart diseases. With CHD being such a prominent killer in modern society, we felt it was only right to show our support and do our bit to fight against such diseases!

Pick Me Up announced! (2015)

We are pleased to announce that we have a new project underway and YOU can ALL be involved! PICK ME UP is all about the universal nature of love. Often we, as a soceity, are too caught up in hatred, disaster and anger. We want to change this, using PICK ME UP to do so. The idea is to create books of love... But we're not going to tell you any more than that! I guess you'll have to wait till 14th February to find out more!

EIGHT - a sell out show! (2014)

EIGHT - a sell out show! (2014)

After months of rehearsals, our first production is finally over. The show took place in one of the studio spaces at the RHUL drama department as part of The Student Workshop's 'Rehearsal Room Production'. To the complete shock of Charlotte (the Director in this case), Eight sold out for the two nights it ran! CRAZY! We'd just like to say thank you for everyone who came and supported our first ever show - we really appreciate it!

EIGHT - great reviews! (2014)

EIGHT - great reviews! (2014)

To the relief of all the EIGHT team our first production got great reviews from staff and students alike! As part of The Student Workshop's 'Review Night', Symbiotic were able to gain crucial feedback on thier first ever show. The simplicity of the show, as well as clever audience engagement (as seen within the various acting atyes and forfeits used) really impressed the reviewers. We also managed to get a philosophical debate going between tutors - impressive!
